Six-digit code

Paste anywhere and all six boxes fill. Backspace walks back one box at a time.

A new code can be sent in 45 seconds

How the six-digit code works

A AimsCraft verification code is six digits, valid for 10 minutes, good for five attempts, and sent from the sender ID AIMSCR. Only the newest code works, so requesting a replacement cancels the one before it.

Verification code rules and limits
Detail Value Why
Code length 6 digits, numeric only Short enough to read off a lock screen, long enough to resist guessing
Validity 10 minutes from sending An old message left in an inbox stops being useful to anyone
Resend wait 45 seconds Indian operators queue transactional SMS at peak hours
Wrong attempts 5 per code, then the code is burned Stops brute forcing without ever locking the account
Resend limit 5 per number per hour Prevents anyone using your number as an SMS bomb target
Sender ID AIMSCR The only ID we use; anything else claiming to be us is not
Cost Free from us; carrier rates may apply We never charge for verification

Code questions, answered

How long is the six-digit code valid?

Ten minutes from the moment it is sent. After that it is rejected and you need a fresh one, which you can request 45 seconds after the last send. Only the newest code works: asking for a second one immediately cancels the first, which is the usual reason a code copied from an older message fails.

The text message has not arrived. What should I do?

Wait the full 45 seconds before resending, since Indian operators sometimes queue transactional SMS at peak hours. Check that the number shown above is the one holding the SIM, and that Do Not Disturb is not blocking sender IDs. If two attempts fail, sign in with your password instead, or write to our care desk.

Can I paste the whole code instead of typing six boxes?

Yes. Paste into any box and all six fill from that point, with the cursor landing on the last one. On iOS and Android the keyboard also offers the code above the keys as soon as the message arrives, and one tap fills the whole row. Backspace walks back through the boxes if you mistype.

I have changed my number. How do I verify the new one?

Use the change number link on this page to go back and enter the new one, which sends a fresh code there. If you can no longer receive anything on the old number and cannot sign in at all, email support@aimscraft.com from your registered address with a recent order number and we will move the account across.

How many times can I get the code wrong?

Five attempts per code. After the fifth the code is burned and you request a new one, which is not a lockout: the account itself is never blocked by wrong codes. Five resends per number per hour is the ceiling, after which the option reappears at the top of the next hour.

Will anyone from AimsCraft ever ask me for this code?

Never. Nobody at AimsCraft, and no courier, will ask for a verification code by phone, email or WhatsApp. A code shared with someone else lets them into your account. The only place it is ever typed is on this page, at an address that begins with https://aimscraft.com.
