The contract in one paragraph
Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract only forms when we email you a dispatch confirmation, which is why we can decline an order priced wrongly. Prices include GST, delivery charges are shown before payment, and title and risk in the goods pass to you at delivery. You get ten days from delivery to return an unworn garment with its tags still attached. The site’s design, code and photography belong to AimsCraft and may not be copied. Indian law governs the contract and the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir have jurisdiction.

1Who you are contracting with
Your contract is with AimsCraft Pvt. Ltd., a private limited company registered in Jammu & Kashmir, India, trading from Watergam, Rafiabad, Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir 193303.
“We”, “us” and “AimsCraft” mean that company; “you” means the person placing the order.
By placing an order you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Shipping Policy and the Returns Policy. Together they are the whole agreement between us, and they replace anything said in a chat, a phone call or an Instagram comment.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to buy from AimsCraft.
You may buy as an individual or on behalf of a business; if it is the latter, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business, and the GSTIN you enter at checkout must belong to it.
We ship to 42 countries. It is your responsibility to check that wool, cashmere and other animal-fibre garments may lawfully be imported where you live. Australia and New Zealand restrict some untreated animal fibres; we will contact you before dispatch rather than let a parcel be seized.
3Your account
You do not need an account to buy, but if you create one you are responsible for keeping the password private and for everything done under it.
Choose a password you use nowhere else, and switch on two-factor authentication in your profile. Tell us immediately at support@aimscraft.com if you think somebody else has access; we will lock the account and cancel any order not yet dispatched.
We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, for coupon abuse, for scraping the catalogue, or to abuse our staff. Where we do, any order already paid for is either fulfilled or refunded in full — we do not keep the money and withhold the goods.
4Products, descriptions and availability
Every product page states what the item is, where it came from and how it was made; hand-made goods vary, and that variation is a feature of the craft rather than a defect.
Hand-loomed tweed, hand-spun pattu and the cardigans knitted in Gurez are made by hand, so no two pieces are identical. Colour on your screen depends on your display: we photograph in daylight without colour correction, but a pattu overcoat described as “undyed ivory” may read warmer or cooler than the photograph. Cloth off a hand loom varies between webs — the fleck in a tweed sits differently on each length, and a hand-knitted cardigan can differ by a few grams from the last one.
Where a claim can be measured, we publish the measurement: fabric weight in GSM or ounces, fibre content by percentage, fill power on a down jacket, and the flat chest, waist, shoulder and inseam of every size in inches. If a garment measures more than half an inch outside its stated size, tell us and we refund in full under the Returns Policy.
Stock figures on the site are near-live but not guaranteed. Occasionally the last piece of a one-off commission sells in two places at once; if that happens we tell you within one working day and refund immediately.
5Pricing, taxes and errors
Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST at the applicable rate; delivery charges are added at checkout and shown in full before you pay.
The Indian MRP convention means tax is included in the displayed price, not added to it — your invoice shows the tax extracted for your records. Currency switching on the site is a convenience conversion at an indicative rate; the charge is always made in rupees, and your bank applies its own rate and any foreign-transaction fee.
| Charge | Included in the listed price? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| GST | Yes | Extracted and itemised on the invoice |
| Delivery within India | Above ₹1,499, yes | Flat ₹79 below that; express ₹199 |
| Cash-on-delivery handling | No | ₹49, added at checkout |
| International shipping | No | Quoted by destination at checkout |
| Import duty and destination taxes | No | Payable by the recipient on delivery |
| Gift wrapping and handwritten note | Yes | Free on every order |
Despite our care, a price is occasionally wrong. Because the contract forms at dispatch and not at checkout, we may cancel an order carrying an obvious pricing error — and we will always contact you first, explain the error and offer the item at the correct price before refunding. Coupon codes are single-use per customer unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined, and cannot be applied to an order already placed.
6Your order, and when we accept it
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed only when we send the dispatch confirmation naming the AWB number — not when payment is taken and not when the order confirmation arrives.
- You place the order and pay. We send an order acknowledgement. This is a receipt, not an acceptance.
- We check stock, address serviceability and, occasionally, payment risk.
- We pack, and hand the parcel to the courier.
- We send the dispatch confirmation with the AWB number. The contract is formed at this point, for the items named in that email only.
We may decline an order, in whole or in part, if the item is out of stock, if the price or description was clearly wrong, if the delivery pincode is not serviceable, if the order looks fraudulent, or if export of the item to your country is restricted. Where we decline, the full amount is refunded to the original payment method within three working days.
You can cancel free of charge at any time before dispatch through your orders page or by writing to us. After dispatch, use the Returns Policy instead.
7Payment
We accept UPI, Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express, net banking, and cash on delivery up to ₹20,000; international orders may also pay by PayPal.
Payments are processed by an RBI-licensed, PCI DSS Level 1 gateway. AimsCraft never sees or stores your full card number — only a token, the last four digits and the card network, so your invoice can identify the payment. Cash on delivery carries a ₹49 handling charge and is not available on made-to-order or high-value items.
If a payment is authorised but later reversed by your bank, and the goods have already shipped, we may hold the account and ask you to settle before further orders. Where a chargeback is raised without contacting us first, we will supply the courier’s proof of delivery to your bank — so it is quicker and friendlier to email us.
8Delivery, title and risk
Ownership and risk in the goods pass to you when the courier delivers the parcel to the address you gave us. Until that moment, any loss or damage in transit is ours to resolve.
Delivery estimates on the Shipping Policy page are working-day estimates, not guarantees, and they exclude Sundays and public holidays. Kashmir’s winter weather and the occasional highway closure can add a day or two; we notify you when we know.
You must give an address where somebody can receive a parcel. If the courier attempts delivery three times and fails, the parcel returns to Srinagar and we refund the item value less the actual return freight. If you accept a parcel that is visibly damaged, note it on the courier’s sheet and photograph it before opening — that evidence is what lets us claim, and it is what the damaged-item process asks for.
For international orders you are the importer of record. Duties, destination taxes and any customs brokerage are payable by you on delivery, and a parcel refused because the duty was not paid is treated as an undelivered parcel.
9Returns, exchanges and cancellations
You have ten days from delivery to return any garment, provided it is unworn, unwashed, unaltered and still carries its tags.
The full mechanics — what is returnable, how the reverse pickup works, and when each payment method refunds — are set out in the Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: a garment you have had altered, a monogrammed piece and a made-to-measure commission cannot be returned unless the fault is ours; everything else can.
Nothing here limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, or the equivalent law where you live. Where a statutory right gives you longer than these terms, the statutory right wins.
10Intellectual property
The source code, design system, layout and written content of this website are owned by AimsCraft; the AimsCraft name, logo and product photography are owned by AimsCraft Pvt. Ltd.
The site was designed and developed by Shahid Malla, and AimsCraft is the owner of that source code and of the copyright in this site’s content. © AimsCraft. All rights reserved. Nothing on this page transfers any of it to you.
- You may link to any page, quote a short passage with attribution, and print a copy of a policy or an invoice for your own records.
- You may not copy the layout or stylesheets into another site, scrape the catalogue, republish product photography, use our marks in advertising, or train a commercial model on this content without a written licence.
The Handloom Mark and the geographical-indication marks that certify Kashmiri woollens belong to their registered proprietors and are used by us under those schemes; they are not ours to license on.
If you post a review, a photograph or a question, you keep ownership of it and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the site and in our marketing, with your display name. You can withdraw that licence at any time by asking us to remove the post.
11Acceptable use, and content you post
Use the site to shop, read and ask questions. Do not attack it, scrape it, or post content that is unlawful, defamatory or someone else’s work.
- No automated scraping, bulk downloading, or crawling faster than a reasonable human pace.
- No attempt to probe, breach or overload the site or its infrastructure. Good-faith security research is welcome at security@aimscraft.com.
- No fake reviews, whether flattering or damaging. We publish only reviews attached to a verified purchase, and we do not delete a review for being negative.
- No content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, or infringes someone else’s copyright or privacy.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and, in serious or repeated cases, close the account. We will tell you which rule was broken rather than deleting silently.
12Warranties and liability
We warrant that goods match their description and are of satisfactory quality; beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that every stock figure is accurate to the second. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — a missed wedding, a cancelled trip, lost profit — arising from a late or failed delivery.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that Indian law does not permit us to exclude. Consumer statutory rights are unaffected.
Every garment carries its fibre content and washing instructions on the care label and on the product page. Please read them: we cannot be responsible for a lambswool cardigan shrunk in a hot machine wash the label told you to avoid.
13Events outside our control
Neither of us is in breach of this contract for a delay caused by something genuinely outside our control, such as a highway closure, a strike, a natural disaster or a communications shutdown.
Kashmir’s single national highway closes for snow and landslides most winters, and that is the most common cause of a delay here. Where such an event lasts more than 30 days, either of us may cancel the affected order and we refund in full, including any delivery charge already paid.
14Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and every order placed under them are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer resident outside India, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows it.
15Complaints and disputes

16Changes to these terms
The terms that govern your order are the ones published on the day you placed it; we archive every version and email account holders 14 days before a material change takes effect.
Version 3.6, dated 1 September 2026, replaced version 3.5 of 20 January 2026. It clarified that the contract forms at dispatch, added the force-majeure clause covering highway closures, and named the Grievance Officer’s response times. Ask grievance@aimscraft.com for an earlier version and we will send the PDF.
17Questions we get asked about these terms
The clauses that generate the most email, in plain language.
If the website shows the wrong price, do you have to honour it?
No, and this is the clause people query most. A contract is only formed when we send the dispatch confirmation, so an order priced at an obvious error — a ₹12,900 overcoat listed at ₹129 — can be cancelled before dispatch with a full refund. We will always contact you first and offer the item at the correct price.
Who owns the photographs and text on this site?
ElySpace owns the source code and design system that run aimscraft.com, licensed to AimsCraft; AimsCraft owns the site's written content, its brand marks and its product photography. You may link to any page freely. You may not copy the layout, scrape the catalogue, or reuse the photographs in a listing of your own without written permission.
When does the jacket become legally mine?
Title and risk both pass to you when the courier hands the parcel over at the address you gave us. Until then a loss in transit is ours to solve, not yours. If someone else at your address signs for it, delivery is complete, so use the delivery-instructions field if that is a problem.
Can I cancel an order after paying?
Yes, free of charge, at any point before we hand the parcel to the courier — usually a window of several hours, since we dispatch within 24 hours. After dispatch it becomes a return under the Returns Policy, with the ten-day window and the same refund timelines.
Where would a dispute actually be heard?
The contract is governed by Indian law and the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may also use the National Consumer Helpline or the e-Daakhil online consumer forum, and nothing in these terms removes a statutory consumer right you hold at home.
Do these terms change without warning?
The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it, and we keep a dated archive of every version. Future changes are posted here with a new version number and effective date; material changes are emailed to account holders at least 14 days in advance.
