Search questions
Why am I seeing products that do not contain the word I typed?
Every product is matched on five fields, not just its title, so a word can hit a tag, a collection name, the short description or the brand instead. Because wool runs through the knitwear as well as the coats, a search for wool legitimately returns five of the eight. Add a second word — combed cotton crew tee narrows it to one.
Can I search by SKU?
SKUs work and are the most precise route in: AIM-JNS-RAW-01 returns exactly the
raw indigo selvedge jeans, and every SKU is printed on the product page and on your invoice.
Sizes and colours are chosen on the product page, so search for the piece rather than the size.
How do I narrow a search down to one collection?
Tap a collection chip above the results. It stays in the URL, so
/search?q=jacket&category=outerwear is a link you can bookmark or send
to someone. Chips stack with the rating, in-stock and on-offer filters, and the active ones
appear as removable pills directly under the chip row.
Do results include things that are out of stock?
Yes, and deliberately. A sold-out hand-loomed pattu overcoat is still the answer to your question, so it appears with a “Sold out” label and is pushed down the ranking rather than hidden. If you only want what ships today, tick the In stock only chip; hand-worked pieces are usually held in single figures, so that filter genuinely changes the list.
What does “Showing results for…” mean at the top of the page?
It means the words you typed matched nothing, but a word within two characters of them matched plenty, so the corrected spelling was run instead. The original query stays on screen as a link, so one tap forces the exact words back. Corrections only ever fire when the exact search returns zero products.
Are my searches saved anywhere?
The last eight queries are kept in this browser’s local storage so the search panel can offer them back to you. They never reach a server, they are not tied to your account, and a private window or cleared site data wipes them. Nothing you type here is used for advertising or shared with anyone.
